The department's goal is to assist the general public with home-site development and procedures to insure compliance with local and state rules and regulations. The department coordinates all applications for various permits. All permit applications must be reviewed and approved to insure compliance with applicable regulations, 分区, and setback standards.

Sean Vick is the Doña安娜县 Certified Building Official. Patrick Henry is a Certified Building Inspector. Joel Candelaria and Riley Roman are Certified Electrical Inspectors and Candido Jasso and David Murillo are Certified Plumbing/Mechanical Inspectors.

The always willing to help front desk staff are Priscilla Ramirez, Elizabeth Calloway, 和伊冯·佩雷斯. The office staff takes in all building, 管道, 机械, 电 and manufactured (mobile) home applications and routes them to the appropriate departments for permit approval. They are available to assist contractors and the general public with all the requirements for obtaining any and all permits.
